Uppers are made with vegetable tanned Italian leather.

Lining is 100% biodegradable, non-toxic and highly breathable Italian leather.

3mm cushioned insole wrapped in leather lining, and a durable rubber sole.

When we decided to expand our sandals collection to include closed-toe shoes, we wanted our leather lining to be as ethical as our vegetable-tanned leather vachetta uppers. So we searched far and wide and found an incredible lining tannery in Italy.

The leathers are completely biodegradable, non-toxic, breathable with a guaranteed low environmental impact and a marked reduction in water waste during production.

These are well made, you won't slip in them, and they're VERY comfortable. This is my second pair and I recommend these to all my friends. I'm an 8.5 in most shoes and got the 39 and it's perfect.

Loved them so much - bought a 2nd pair

I bought the navy blue and white pair last summer. I love that they look a little different, have a rubber bottom so I don’t slide & haven’t stretched out of shape. So I bought the brick color & love them too. I’m a solid 9 but bought the 40 - a tad bit long but my right foot is technically a “c” width.
