Trends come and go. Quality never gets old. We start every pair of shoes and sandals with a sketch. When we create designs we love, we work with our master pattern-maker, Ares, before bringing them to life in two family-run factories in Greece.
It begins in the ateliers
Handmade by 3rd-generation craftswo/men, Laiik joins traditional craftsmanship with modern, minimalist design. Using centuries-old techniques, each craftsperson imbues their skill and know-how into each sandal and shoe. The result? A modern shoe that honors the storied history of Greek craftsmanship.
Premium materials, without compromise
We source only the best materials we can find. Both our sandals and shoes are created using only vegetable-tanned Italian leathers sourced exclusively from Pelle Al Vegetale, a Tuscan collective of tanneries. These leathers are celebrated for their softness and durability, and their aesthetic appeal increases with each wear—in short, they age beautifully.

Our collection is designed with you, our stylish and conscientious customer, in mind. To that end, we are passionate about providing luxurious footwear without the excessive price tag. Because our sandals come directly from our ateliers in Greece, we are able to present them to you without the traditional retail markups.
We've taken the classic Greek sandal and made it to fit your world. And it all begins and ends with our sole. We've kept the luxury of stacked cuoio leather and finished it with a thin layer of rubber to add flexibility, durability and wearability for everyday wear.
"Of the people"
Our name is derived from the Greek word λαϊκό (laïkó), meaning “of the people”. From the artisans to the wearers, Laiik is rekindling the lost connection between consumers and producers, while creating luxury quality products at a price that is fair to all. Close relationships with our makers in Greece and careful selection of our suppliers means we can ensure that high ethical and environmental standards are upheld.
