About the Ida Mary Jane

Description

Our first ever Mary Jane, the Ida is all grown-up with an asymmetric opening and a subtle almond-toed nose. Both elegant and modern, our new flat features a delicate strap with our signature ourobouros buckle and ultra-soft leather lining with a padded insole. Available in white pebble, blue and silver, the Ida is a season-spanner.

Fit Notes

The Ida fits true-to-size. With a generous and asymmetric opening, she can accommodate a variety of widths, different feet shapes and bunions too! If you find yourself between sizes, we suggest sizing up. If it fits snug at first, the leather will open up to the shape of your foot.

Materials

Handmade in Greece, our leather uppers are made with vegetable tanned and chromium free leathers.. The lining is 100% biodegradable, non-toxic and highly breathable Italian leather, and a 3mm cushioned insole wrapped in the same lining.

Eco-Conscious Materials

When we decided to expand our sandals collection to include closed-toe shoes, we wanted our leather lining to be as ethical as our vegetable-tanned leather vachetta uppers. So we searched far and wide and found an incredible lining tannery in Italy. 

The leathers are completely biodegradable, non-toxic, breathable with a guaranteed low environmental impact and a marked reduction in water waste during production.

We want you to treasure your leather boots for years and years to come. While we’ve made every effort to build the shoes to last with materials that age beautifully, there are also steps you can take to protect and prolong the life of your leather boots. First things first, use an all natural leather cream or spray to protect your boots from water and other elements!

Such cute shoes!

I’ve only bought sandals from Laiik before and then I saw these. I’m bunion challenged so the cool design is also very practical for me. I got the pebble white, which makes everything a little brighter. And they go well with dresses and shorts and pants.
