About the Artemis Sneaker

Description

Like the goddess herself, our Artemis sneaker is at one with the natural world. Our leather sneaker is handmade in Greece using only the most eco-conscious materials we could find, including a 70% recycled rubber sole and ultra-soft vegetable-tanned & chromium-free leathers. Featuring a lambda swoosh and our signature brass eyelets, our leather sneaker is luxurious and comfortable, with a little Greek flair.

Fit Notes

The Artemis leather sneaker fits true to size. With soft, pliable leather uppers and lining, she accommodates feet both narrow and wide. Even if the sneaker is a bit snug at first, the leather will open up to the shape of your foot after a few wears.

If you find yourself between sizes, we suggest sizing up. 

Materials

Handmade in Greece, with love.

The uppers are made with chromium-free and vegetable tanned Italian leathers. The lining is 100% biodegradable, non-toxic and highly breathable Italian leather.

Sourced in Portugal, our soles are 70% recycled rubber. Featuring flat cotton laces and a brass eyelet and stud.

Eco Sneaker

When we decided to create a sneaker, we wanted to stay true to ethical manufacturing & eco-conscious values. So, as we do with our sandal and shoes, we sourced vegetable-tanned and chromium-free leather for the uppers, even if it involves higher production costs. For our lining, we chose non-toxic and completely biodegradable leather. And finally, our soles are 70% recycled rubber! Sourced from a factory in Portugal, once these soles have finished their life cycle, they can reprocess and rebuild new raw materials from it. It's as sustainable as we could go!

Stylish and comfortable!

I love Laiik's Artemis sneaker! It packs a double punch of style and comfort. I searched and searched for just the right "fashion" sneakers and am glad I waited for Artemis. It has great design and stands out from the crowd The leather is supportive without being stiff. I love the details of the stitching and leather tab at the heel. Also, no need to break these shoes in - they felt great from the start. I am so glad Laiik has expanded to sneakers!
